Asian Institute of Cambodia
ASIAN INSTITUTE OF CAMBODIA (AIC) is a private higher education institution situated in Daun Cham Village, Sangkat Kratie, Kratie Town, Kratie Province - the Northeastern part of Cambodia - was established on August 17, 2011 by Cambodian, American, Canadian, Nigerian, Irish, and British founders and a group of Filipinos. This institute received the sub-decree from the Royal Government of Cambodia on September 26, 2012, and it is recognized and controlled by Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training.
Asian Institute of Cambodia is in the centre of the town and it is about 300 metres far from the river bank of the Mekong River. Kratie is a well-known tour site and is famous for a vast variety of historical, natural and eco-tourism resorts: Koh Trung, Kampi, Thmor Bang, Koh Prumacharay. Moreover, this site attracts ten thousands of both national and international tourists for the freshwater dolphins.
This institute will put up the construction of its own academic building in Ourussrey Village II, Sangkat Ourussey, Kratie Town, Kratie Province by the year 2015. This institute is connected to the world through the Internet and by our partnership universities and colleges.
Despite the very young age, Asian Institute of Cambodia has strived to build and expand the networks among the ASEAN partner universities and the ACNET-EngTech partner insitutions.
Through the ASEAN partner universities, Asian Institute of Cambodia has become a member of the Passage to ASEAN (P2A), which was founded in 2012 by more than 40 higher education institutions in the ASEAN countries. In addition, this institution has been accepted as a member of the ACNET-EngTech Secretariat, which belongs to more than 20 higher institutions among the ASEAN-China universities.
Asian Institute of Cambodia offers Master, Bachelor and Associate Programs. It has seven colleges , three of which are available for enrollments and running classes. Those are (1) College of Arts, Humanities & Foreign Languages, (2) College of Business Administration, and (3) College of Agriculture. The total number of the students at the moment is 523 .
The college staff and lecturers are highly qualified to ensure quality education to the students. AIC continuously supports its workforce for professional development and career enhancement. Asian Institute of Cambodia actively participates in and supports social activities to hone every student a responsible and productive citizen in the country.
Additionally, the institute is striving to focus mainly on researches, in which case we are able to challenge the globalization since we are living in a changing world.
