2026 Tianjin University International Summer Design Workshop
Program Overview
Join us for an immersive summer experience at Tianjin University (TJU), one of China’s most prestigious top-tier institutions. Jointly organized by TJU Industrial Design and CRRC Tangshan (a global leader in high-speed rail manufacturing), this year’s summer school offers a unique platform combining academic rigor with industry-leading practice. The program is hosted at the historic Weijin Road Campus from July 6th to July 12th, providing convenient access to central Tianjin and major transportation hubs.
Key Highlights
ü Real-World Industrial Projects: Students will have the exclusive opportunity to work directly on actual design projects from CRRC Tangshan, tackling real challenges in the high-speed rail industry.
ü International Collaboration: Work alongside talented peers from Tianjin University and leading UK universities in a cross-cultural design environment.
ü Industry & Corporate Visits: Gain professional insights through organized visits to prominent enterprises within Tianjin and an exclusive technical tour of CRRC Tangshan.
Application Requirements:
ü Student level: Bachelor, Master’s and PhD Students
ü Academic background: Industrial Design, Product Design, Environmental Design, Transportation Design.
ü A Curriculum Vitae of the applicant
Financial Support & Logistics
ü Complimentary on-campus housing provided for the duration of the program.
ü Meal subsidies will be provided for use at the campus canteens.
