To promote student exchange and talent development within ACNET-EngTech, Tianjin University, as the Permanent Secretariat, hereby establishes a scholarship to sponsor outstanding students from member universities to participate in summer programs in China.

1. Eligible Programs

The programs are offered within Tianjin University International Summer Schools and are subject to annual adjustments.

2026 Eligible Programs:

1. Smart Energy Powering the Future (in electrical and electronics, computer science and engineering,and robotics etc.) 

2. Smart Ocean Summer School (in marine science and marine technology)

3. Summer Camp on Digital Transformation (in Management and Economics) 

4. 2026 International Sino Thai Workshop「Water Mirror 」Water Urbanism Design (in Architecture, Urban Design and Planning, Landscape Architecture)

5. 2026 Tianjin University International Summer Design Workshop (in Industrial Design, Product Design, Environmental Design, Transportation Design)

2. Quota

One nominee per ASEAN member university.

Nominees may select and participate in one of the available programs.

3. Eligibility Criteria

· Nominee must be a fulltime student enrolled at an ACNET-EngTech member university, holding citizenship of the respective ASEAN country

· Nominee shall meet the admission requirements of the applied summer program

· High level of English language proficiency

4. Scholarship Coverage

The scholarship includes:

· Program tuition

· Round-trip economy-class airfare or train tickets (purchased by the organizer)

· Accommodation

· Local transportation for official program activities

Not covered: Insurance, Visa, and personal expenses and costs for voluntary activities

5. Nomination & Application

1. Member universities please complete the nomination form and a scanned copy of the nominee’s passport, and send them to: acnet_engtech@tju.edu.cn

2. Nominees shall submit their program applications following the instructions in the respective program announcements.
